DO WE CARRY OUR MOTHERS & FATHERS
ON THE COMMON
WHO: Led by PAUL DUNION and JOHN GUARNASCHELLI.
By the time I'm an adult man, I'm used to the idea of training. I trained in school. I might train in the military. I train to use computers... to become a chef, teacher, lawyer, actor, acrobat, or whatever!
But, I might live my entire life 'trained" to leave unrealized the deepest training of them all: the lessons and messages I took in during my first 18 or 20 years. I might never see how "trained" I was then to do both the positive and negative things I continue to do now at age 35 or 55 or 75!
On May 14, 15, and 16, as the Spring grows full, our Village of Brothers will gather in the lodge at Camp Hi-Rock's lake edge.
We will gather to create a Sacred Space where, all together, each one of us will be allowed to know himself, his own experience, more deeply.
We will offer silence, discussion, exercise, play, and the Sweat Lodge to make present how we continue to carry our mothers and fathers...when sometimes they are miles or years away.
The deepest truth of Men's Soul Work is that I can only learn to know myself if you and I can allow ourselves to know each other. Please consider how important adding your insights, questions, joys, and confusions to the sum of our experience will be this May.
